Using Cloned SD

If you are using a cloned SD (say from Brick55), there are a few changes to make:

VPN

The new brick will join the VPN as if it were the cloned brick. So

root@brick60:openvpn# /etc/init.d/openvpn start

Then log onto the VPN server (nsrl1) and generate new keys:

 cd /usr/share/doc/openvpn/examples/easy-rsa/2.0/
 source ./vars
 ./build-key clientname

I copy/paste them between terminals, and make sure the permissions on the *.key file is 600 (or -rw------- ). Then restart the VPN and note the IP address and add it to [Seamonster_VPN#Network_Layout].

munin

  1. Change NEW_BRICK:/etc/munin/munin-node.conf with the new host_name
  2. edit nsrl1:/etc/munin/munin.conf to add the new machine and VPN address

bricknum

edit /root/bricknum
