Cosmic Rays:

Notes on making the condensation tracks easier to see are not complete.
This is on the ToDo list.
One quick note: A given run of the cloud chamber can be very "quiet",
i.e. not very many visible tracks, until just the right illumination
geometry is found, and suddenly there are lots of visible tracks.
One trick I've found in my early trials is to angle the slide projector
beam downward quite sharply with the lens above and nearly touching one
end of the chamber. This steep illumination angle means that the beam
doesn't reach the other side of the chamber (blinding the observer).
The close proximity means a lot of light is available to scatter off of
even faint condensation trails.
